FLUTES FOR ADOPTION

ROUND-BORES

These are what you typically think of in a Woodlands style flute.

High D (D5) in Brazilian Cherry with Sapele block. ~19.5” long. $150 + $10 s/h

Low D (D4) in Mansonia with Ebony heartline. ~25” long. Sitka Spruce block is designed after a shaman’s Killer Whale bone amulet. Bright, hollow sounding voice  $220 + $10 s/h

High B (B4) in Maccasar Ebony with leaping cat block in Gaboon Ebony (Malachite inlays). ~20” long. $300 + $10 s/h

High C (C5) in unusual Striped Gaboon Ebony, with Ziricote block. ~24” long, in birdbeak style. This is an elegant, sweetly playing flute, helped by the longer SAC. More mellow than the louder, shorter Tamboti high C below. * $210 + $10 s/h

High C (C5) in a shimmering piece of Tamboti, with figured Imbuia block. ~19.5” long. This is a bold playing flute, louder than the more mellow Ebony high above. * $190 + $10 s/h

High Bb (Bb4) in lightly curly Maple, with a Walnut block. ~21” long. Kokopelli inlay is in turquiose, with a Walnut halo. Bright playing flute, this one  $215 + $10 s/h

Mid F# (F#4) in figured Myrtle with Rosewood caps and block. I usually make this key with a 1” bore, but this one is a 7/8” bore with a loud, warbly fundamental.  ~25”  $235 + $10 s/h

Mid G# (G#4) in spalted Pecan with figured Sapele bird. Bold voice. ~22”

$170 + $10 s/h
